This morning I decided to clean out one of my old briefcases and discard it. I came across a small pamphlet that one of my former students had given to me. This student is a broadcaster for NBC and is a powerful motivational speaker along with being an award-winning sportscaster. The booklet was excerpts from The Treasury of Quotes by Jim Rohn. Jim lived in Texas and my former student told me he heard him speak and he gave a powerful performance. Jim Rohn died in 2009 at the age of 69. His business is still alive today and he is a leader in the sale of personal development audio books and tools.
I got curious about the life of Jim Rohn and I have included a Wikipedia link below so you can read about his life. Jim Rohn was a man who had to START several times in his life new ventures. He had great success and was a mentor to Mark Hughes, Tony Robbins, Mark Victor Hansen, Jack Canfield, and Brian Tracy
The one quote I want to share is below:
I find it fascinating that most people plan their vacations with better care than they do their lives. Perhaps that is because escape is easier than change
