Feb 28-Kellerweis-Hefeweizen

My beer today is a German Hefeweizen called Kellerweis which is brewed by Sierra Nevada. Great news for us that live in North or South Carolina is that Sierra Nevada has opened a brewery 10 miles south of Asheville, NC in a place called Mill Run, NC

. This will make it easier for us Carolinians to get some of the good stuff that folks out in California have been able to sample. Not hard to Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in high-end grocery stores but their other brews not so easy. I suspect that will change and in fact this week Sierra Nevada shipped their first beers from Mill Run, NC. The beer is 4.8% alcohol and was a very good drinking Hefeweizen. Recommend it and would drink it again.
