April 30-Kashmir

My streak of drinking beers from North Carolina is still intact. Grabbed a Kashmir from Highland Brewery out of Asheville, NC. Kashmir contains 6.0% ABV and is a IPA. Very solid IPA Advertisements

April 21-Pale Ale

Sorry this is out of rotation submitted as draft and did not post until end of the month. Grabbed a Pale Ale from Legend Brewing Company out of Richmond VA after my two mile walk/run tonight. We had a beautiful spring day in the Carolina’s and this beer made the day. I have been battling […]

This post is just an observation on what daily decisions can teach us if we pay attention. Yesterday at the end of work I was faced with running the 50 feet from my office door to my car during a terrible storm. The storm included torrential rain and hail. First let me explain the close […]

April 29-Peacemaker

Stormy Tuesday in North Carolina with lighting, thunder, hail, and a rainbow. What I need is a Peacemaker and thankfully Lonerider Brewing Company offers up a pale ale called Peacemaker. Lonerider is located in Raleigh, NC and their Sweet Josie is still a better beer than Peacemaker but it is solid beer that the Tarheel […]

April 28-Amber Ale

I have tried another North Carolina beer tonight from Duck Rabbit Brewery which is located in Farmville, NC. The beer I had was called Amber Ale. It contains 5.5% ABV and I believe it is a very solid beer.

Leaders have to have a WHY before a WHAT

The last three weeks I have observed critical communication errors a talented leader made in a large organization. This individual has been thrust into a situation where changes need to occur for his division to grow and become legally compliant. The problem is his division’s communication method for the change is Nike-“Just Do it”. His […]

April 27-Sixth Glass

Had my first quadruple ale today. It is called Sixth Glass by Boulevard Brewing Company out of Kansas City, MO.  This beer is super-malty nose full of aromas of dried fruit, specifically of figs.  The name comes from a Hans Christian Andersen tale that involves Satan offering a man six successively stronger beers, and it’s worth […]

April 26-ESB ESB is a solid beer and contains 5.3% ABV. Found a North Carolina Brewery that I haven’t tried Green Man Brewery so I gave their ESB a try. Green Man is located in Asheville, NC which is becoming one of America’s best beer cities. Asheville even has a beer week May 23-31 and it […]

April 25-312

Today I went with a urban wheat beer from Goose Island Brewery called 312. One of my favorite beers! It has a good malt taste. Some friends from Chicago told me I would love it and they were right. Contains 4.2% ABV and is distributed widely in North Carolina.

April 24-Red Nose

Contradictory beer choice today but an okay brew. I had the opportunity to play golf at River Landing in Wallace, NC today and this was the beer staring me in the face in the fridge. Red Nose is from Natty Greene Brewery out of Greensboro NC and is a winter seasonal. A tad sweet and contains 6.8% ABV. […]
