The weather does not get better in North Carolina than it has been yesterday and today. Temps in high 70’s and low 80’s breeze out of the west and no humidity. Yesterday and today had my two best runs since injuring my right foot in February. I added a NEW JERSEY Band South side Johnny and the Asbury Jukes playlist to Spotify and completed a couple of 2 mile plus runs in weather that my Garden State family & friends would be envious of.
Today at the conclusion of the run went to our front porch-turned on the ceiling fans and grabbed a beer left over from our Kentucky Derby Party last night. It is a Highland Brewing Company beer called Gaelic Ale. Contains 5.6%ABV and is Highland’s flagship beer.
Great weather-Garden State music-North Carolina beer-2 mile run on a Sunday Afternoon and a cool front porch breeze-somebody is living the good life. Link
Gaelic Ale is my second most favorite NC beer behind Duck Rabbit Milk Stout. Gaelic is an “everyday” beer, unlike the Milk Stout that would I would not want to power drink. Love the Blog. You and I are kindred spirits where beer is concerned.
