Been a very hectic week with a large tree falling in our yard, a dog biting one of my sons, numerous ice bucket challenges that I will address on Monday, the start of new academic year at my university, and all workplace challenges a new year brings with it. On top of that we have had the hottest week of the summer. All this is code for I am ready for a great beer to begin the weekend.
My choice is a Pennsylvania beer from Victory Brewing out of Downington, PA called Golden Monkey. This beer is an Abbey Trippel and checks in at a strong 9.5% ABV and gets rave reviews from Rate Beer and Beer Advocate.
