September 16-Pisgah Pale Ale-David Butler

I continue to be blessed by friends and family who go out of their way to locate a beer or two or six I haven’t tried yet. Last night I had a great surprise when David Butler the youngest son of a good friend Joe Butler came to the front door with some beers he had located at Peabody’s in Boone NC. I wrote about Peabody’s in my July 16th post when my neighbor Ron Brown hooked me up.

Well David found a North Carolina beer from Pisgah Brewing out of Black Mountain, NC. Black Mountain is located right outside of Asheville NC which is currently home to 18 craft breweries.

The beer of the day selected by David Butler is Pisgah Pale Ale which is an outstanding beer-6.0% ABV I recommend you get to Peabody’s or somewhere in the North Carolina mountains that has this beer in stock or on tap. Joe Butler your son has sophisticated taste.
