October 5-Mash House Hoppy Hour IPA-kudos to Joe Terranova

Most of my 2014 “Beer of the Day” brews have been consumed in the friendly confines of my one hundred year old plus home. Last night thanks to good friends Joe & Beth Terranova my wife and I crashed their date night. We rode to Fayetteville, NC for dinner at the Mash House Brewery and Chop House.

The food we sampled included Lobster Macaroni & Cheese, Salmon Oscar, Heart Healthy Chicken Pasta, and a Pulled Pork Sandwich. The North Carolina Beer I selected was Hoppy Hour IPA.

Hoppy Hour IPA has more of a malty biscuit flavor than citrus. Overall a decent beer and it contains 5.9% ABV. The place runs lot’s of specials and love that pints were just $3.00.

Thanks Joe and Beth for the double date.
