October 6-Drafty Kilt-Kenny & Bonnie Biggs

You know you are living a good life when great neighbors call you up and ask you to come by and hang out at their fire pit and have a drink. I always knew I had world class neighbors in Kenny and Bonnie Biggs but I wasn’t prepared that they had a world class beer hidden in their fridge.

When my wife and I got to their home they asked me to go to their fridge and pick out any beer I wanted. I see a Georgia Beer from a Atlanta Brewer called Monday Night Brewing staring me in the face and got a hunch it might be pretty good. My instincts on this night were spot on. The beer I selected was called Drafty Kilt a Scotch Ale that was outstanding. Rate Beer rates this beer a 95 and it is the best Scotch Ale I have had this year. It contains 7.2% ABV and has a sweet molasses taste to it.

Great story that Monday Night Brewing evolved from a Monday night bible study group.
