October 10-Brooklyn Oktoberfest

I made it two days in a row for a Marzen style beer. Went to a New York beer from Brooklyn Brewery and tried their “Brooklyn Oktoberfest” which checks in at 5.5% ABV. Better than yesterday’s but still not the holy grail of Octoberfest style beers. I will keep researching.

The recently completed Great American Beer Festival gave out awards to the three beers below for Marzen:
Gold-Capital Oktoberfest-Capital Brewery Company-Middleton WI
Silver-Duck Rabbit Marzen-Duck Rabbit Craft Brewery-Farmville, NC
Bronze-Octoberfest-Atiba Brewing Company-Atiba Springs, LA
