November 9-Smoked Amber-Kudos to Ron Brown

Smoked Amber

Tonight I got a couple of firsts. I tried a North Carolina Beer from a first time brewer for me-Triple C Brewing Company out of Charlotte, NC. The second first was I got to sample a smoked beer called Smoked Amber. I didn’t know what to expect but I really liked this beer. It has some smoked cherry wood malt that gave it a great flavor and smell.

Contains 5.5% ABV and IBU rating is 29. I like to thank Ron Brown for picking me up this beer. I have visiting Triple C Brewing on my bucket list the next time I am in Charlotte.

Glad I got to share the beer with some friends-Carey and Joanna Read, Don Metzger, and Giuseppe Terranova.
