November 12-Swamp Ape-Steve Baratta-Brenda Crebs

Tonight I got to enjoy the generousity of friends Steve Baratta and Brenda Crebs. This married couple recently relocated to our North Carolina town from Florida. Our weather today included temps in the 70’s kinda of florida like for mid-november.

Two weeks ago they took a trip back to Florida and they hooked me up with a dozen unique Florida beers including my selection tonight Swamp Ape a double IPA from the Florida Beer Company out of Cape Canaveral, FL.

This beer does not get great ratings on Rate Beer but I thought it was much better than the consensus. Contains 10.0% ABV and a 83 IBU rating. I thought the beer was very good but I think my new friends Steve and Brenda are world class.
