November 25-Back Country Black IPA-thanks to Tony & Tina Jenkins

There are all types of friends. I have some great friends and I have some beer drinking friends. Wedged in between are lots of other special people that fall into differerent categories. Tony and Tina Jenkins got me today’s beer and they are two of my great friends who I love to have a beer with.

Tonight I get to drink a beer from a North Carolina Brewery I have never sampled before. This North Carolina beer is brewed by Deep River Brewing Company out of Clayton NC and is called Back Country Black IPA. This is a relative young company that brewed its first beer in February 2013.  This is another North Carolina Brewery that I hope to get to visit.

The beer contains 7.9% ABV and pours like a Guiness. I would say this beer is very good. Love the brewery’s motto “Johnson County’s first legal brewery”. Tony and Tina thanks!!
