I am the dad to five adult children. As they were growing up I attempted to remind them they were special and to implore them to learn something new. My goal was to do that daily.
In 2016 my goal is to learn something new daily on the people, places, and things that make North Carolina special.
High Point is home to a trade show called the Furniture Market which is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, bringing more than 85,000 people to High Point every six months.
Serious retail home furnishings buyers can be found in High Point twice a year looking to get deals for their businesses.

High Point is not the only furniture destination in North Carolina you also can go to Hickory. Great link below gives great history of Hickory’s ties to furniture which go back to early part of 20th century.
