North Carolina-Hurricane Matthew Part 2-October 13-16

North Carolina People, Places, and Things-October 13-16

I am the dad to five adult children. As they were growing up I attempted to remind them they were special and to implore them to learn something new. My goal was to do that daily.

Up until October 10, 2016 I was posting daily on what I learned new about North Carolina. Hurricane Matthew changed that result of daily posts.

I posted some photos for October 11-12.

Today I post a video/slide show that shows what my town of Lumberton, NC has gone thru. I have no doubt what I have learned are that trying times can teach you much. Materialistic possessions don’t come close to bringing me the joy that family, friendship, and my community gives me.
