North Carolina-Novels-November 20

North Carolina People, Places, and Things-November 20

I am the dad to five adult children. As they were growing up I attempted to remind them they were special and to implore them to learn something new. My goal was to do that daily.

In 2016 my goal is to learn something new daily on the people, places, and things that make North Carolina special. Everyday this year I am doing a post on what I have learned new.

If you live near or work at college campus there is a great resource available to you when it comes to learning. That resource is a university library. At UNC Chapel Hill there is a library called Wilson that holds some pretty good stuff related to North Carolina. Some of those materials are available digitally.

What you will find on the Wilson Library website is section dedicated to North Carolina Authors and Novels that were set in North Carolina. The website is currently on hiatus and is not taken on any new books currently but if you like to read about novels set in North Carolina you might want to go browsing:

You can browse by author, novel name, or by county.

For my friends that live in Lumberton NC here is a book you may want to read.
