I started the Coach4aday blog in 2014 and have done daily posts on one topic for each year. In 2014 my daily posts were on the “Beer of the Day”, 2015 it was “A Friend of a Friend”, 2016 I wrote about “North Carolina”, and in 2017 it was “Colleges and Universities”.
The one consistent piece of feedback I have received with this blog is the 2015 series on “A Friend of a Friend”. Readers and blog followers said please bring it back. The stats also back that up with the number of views each of those posts received.
So in 2018 two things will happen with the Coach4aday blog; One I plan to collaborate with a friend named John Rancke and revisit some of those 2015 “A Friend of a Friend” posts and do some new ones with a slightly different twist. I write the posts on odd-numbered days each month and John handles the even-numbered days.
In addition John and I will write about things we both are interested which will include basketball, food, people, music, our granddaughters, and great stories.

April 10, 2018 My Top 10 Bucket List
Post written by John Rancke
So, watching the Masters from Augusta this weekend, I am thinking about my Top 10 places I would like to visit on my bucket list. Course I also have a Top 10 restaurants I want to visit but that’s a story for great food experiences not places I want to experience.
10 -Fenway Park for a Red Sox game
9 – Baton Rouge for an LSU football game
8 -West Point for a football game and weekend in the Hudson River Valley
7 -Annapolis for a football game and weekend on the Chesapeake Bay
6 -Alaska cruise
5 – Happy Valley for a Penn State football game
4 -Canadian Rockies and the train tour
3 -New Zealand
2 -Bora Bora and those huts that sit out over the water
1 -Augusta for the week of the Masters
**** My real number 1 is sitting on the front row in the church when my granddaughter Ayden says her vows, so I actually have 11 on my top 10 list.
My #1 for years was to attend the Army Navy football game in early December. I was fortunate enough to do that in 2013 in Philadelphia.
Short and sweet and sports-oriented list. I don’t really care to see The Big House or Tennessee or Alabama. Have seen Auburn. Have seen The Garden in New York. I should include a Redskin game but it doesn’t make the Top 10.
What’s your list!! Please share it with Coach4aday
