December 13, 2018 Happy Birthday Girls
Post by John Rancke
December 13 is a popular day in my family. Three birthdays on one day. So since I am retired and usually confused I get props for remembering and extending Happy birthday wishes to:
My youngest sister Nancy Rancke King, lives just outside Garner, and has worked at Wake Med for going on 40 years I think (close enough). She really took a chance bringing a N C State fan home to meet the parents years ago and then had the nerve to allow one of her sons, Brian, to attend that school in West Raleigh. Forced her mother to actually spend money on birthday and Christmas for her oldest grandchild. Shame , shame!! But her smart son graduated Carolina with a Pharmacy degree.
Seriously, both those boys are great kids and are so much smarter than their Uncle John. And the State Fan has hung around for close to 40 years and is a great Brother in Law. You chose well my little sister and deserve to show the Gio punt return and the infamous fumble by McClendon outside the end zone as often as you desire.
My daughter, Lindsay Caroline, lives at White Lake and works for the SECU and is the mother of Ayden Caroline.
She married a Bladen County boy that can make or do anything with his hands. She turns 35 this year and inherited her Mother’s intelligence and good heart and her caring of others. She is a great Mother and daughter and she and JB are raising my granddaughter the right way. Involved in 2 churches, the Christian School Ayden attends, and so many other things I am so proud of her.
My niece, Blake Byrd, lives up in the High Country and attends Appalachian State.
She is a senior and needs to be modeling. She is a little hippie per her mother and is the older sister of Brooke Byrd who attends Watauga High School and is the athlete on the family tree. Blake should go to work at the SECU like her 2 cousins but I think she will do her own thing. She lights up my world when I see her smile and her personality just shines. Her Mother and Father raised her right and are so proud of her. As am I.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS!
