Each year the blog takes on a different focus. In 2019 the goal is for each post to bring you the reader a lesson, quote, message, or story that can help you grow.


Hippocrates sometimes referred to as the “Father of Medicine” who lived from 460 to 370 BC described a medical condition during his lifetime that was close to Attention Deficit Disorder.


In our world of distractions and multi-tasking being attentive is not an easy state to arrive at. I know I am guilty of it more than I like to admit but our phones often become the killer of even a simple conversation.


Learning to give our undivided attention to others is big plus in becoming a great leader.

Found a good post by Jason Barger on Attentiveness (One of the Overlooked Leadership Skills)

When we think about what we learn in school the lessons often center on writing, reading, mathematics, and thinking. The last skill of thinking requires us to be in a quiet environment. Attentiveness can be powerful in a lot of ways including being able to listen to our inner self.
