Each year the blog takes on a different focus. In 2019 the goal is for each post to bring you the reader a lesson, quote, message, or story that can help you grow.
Three weeks ago I was in a gathering where someone was being asked to present to the entire group. They had prepared well and rehearsed their remarks. On the way to the podium they took a STUMBLE.
The person jumped up made a quick joke and immediately began delivering their well crafted remarks. They did not lose their focus when their moment to perform occurred. The STUMBLE was awkward but the performance was graceful.
The world is full of people who are presented with an opportunity to get on a stage and perform. Sometimes before they can get to the podium, climb the stairs, or have their shining moment they STUMBLE and fall. For many that STUMPLE takes away their self-confidence and focus and they can’t recover.
It is really hard to fall gracefully what is more important is get up with determination and re-focus on the task at hand.
Hopefully this short video will let us all know that even graceful and beautiful people have a moment when they STUMBLE but the show must go on.
