My twitter handle is @coach4aday2 if you want to follow the blog that way.
Each year the blog takes on a different focus. In 2019 the goal is for each post to bring you the reader a lesson, quote, message, or story that can help you grow.
Blog of Month
It has been my practice to use the 3rd of each month to feature what I call the “Blog of the Month”. I profile a blog I follow and encourage you to explore it also.
Here is my post from September.
I follow more blogs these days on Twitter than I do on WordPress. The Blog of the Month for October is The Daily Coach
The goal of The Daily Coach is to provide a daily hands-on approach to becoming a better leader. It is a product of two great leaders-George Raveling and Michael Lombardi. Each morning I get a nugget of wisdom by following this site.
I have always admired George Raveling and heard many stories about him from the late Steve Cottrell. George was a fantastic college basketball coach at Washington State, the University of Iowa and USC. He also was a voracious reader. He would read hundreds of newspapers a week and would copy the best articles and mail them to other college coaches. I was one of those coaches who received his mailings.
George Raveling was a pioneer, a role model, and a man who cared about a lot of issues. He also is a collector. One of his collectibles is the hand written speech by Martin Luther King Jr. “I have a dream”. Great read on George Raveling at this link by Seth Davis.
