Collaboration

For many of us during these past weeks we can find joy and respite in music.

My favorite genre of music is the blues.

I have always loved when a musical genius decided to COLLABORATE with another talent. I really love it when that performer is honoring someone who has gone before them. Often times there are smiles on the musicians faces when they play. Those smiles to me are a sign of respect and appreciation. We all need smiles, respect, and appreciation right now.

I have posted some YouTube Videos of COLLABORATION amongst some of my favorite blues artist.

Another duo that choose to COLLABORATE was blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Eric Clapton. They got together in Royal Albert Hall to do “Further On Up The Road” that was first recorded by Bobby “Blue” Bland.

How about this COLLABORATION called the Blues Boogie Jam between John Lee Hooker, Carlos Santana, Paul Butterfield, and Elvin Bishop. Just look at these performers faces. That is what COLLABORATION is all about.

Maybe we all need to add a lot of COLLABORATION in our lives.
